Internships

The Capps Center awards financial stipends to advanced undergraduates at the University of California at Santa Barbara who submit creative proposals for internships. Stipends are usually for one quarter, and interns serve in both government agencies of the State of California and non-government organizations coordinated through UC Sacramento Center, or in Congressional offices and other federal or private agencies in Washington, D.C. coordinated through UC Washington Center.

Capps Interns are selected on the basis of academic credentials, career interests, and compatibility of the proposed internship with the Capps Center’s mission of fostering dialogue on critical public issues. Interested students should apply directly to the Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities Office at UCSB, 2105 North Hall. Web site: http://www.LTSC.ucsb.edu/urca
