Maeve Devoy is the Associate Director of the Capps Center. She earned a doctorate in the Department of History at UC Santa Barbara, where she studied U.S. political history, with an emphasis on the Presidency. Her areas of interest include investigation of the Presidency, the history of U.S. government and institutions, ethics and good governance, and U.S. foreign policy. In addition to her duties as Associate Director, Dr. Devoy contributes to the Center's ethics course offerings, teaching a class on Ethics and the American Presidency.
